This is the venture of Robert Luo and Jacky Lin, owners of JNR Wine Group, which in turns own Espier. Winemaker Sam Brewer has made wine for Southcorp and De Bortoli in Australia, and overseas in the US and China, and has been closely linked with the business since its establishment. The principal focus of the business is export to Asian countries, with China and Hong Kong the main areas of interest. Much of the volume is linked to contract-made wines for the Chinese market under the Espier Estate label, and are priced from entry level to premium regional styles. Heathcote is the focus for the latter, the entry- to mid-level sourced from supplies across Southeastern Australia, with Sam Brewer providing the relevant style and price specifications. Exports to Asia.
