Does a day trip to the Yarra Ranges for a farm-to-plate feast matched to top-notch wines sound like something you’d like to do this weekend? Then you’re in for a treat, because Coonara Springs has teamed up with Yeringberg to present a special lunch this Sunday October 16.
Esteemed Yeringberg winemaker Sandra du Pury and Coonara Springs executive chef Adrian Upward once worked together in the kitchens of Melbourne. This weekend they’re joining forces once more for a long-table lunch featuring local lamb, produce from the kitchen garden, new release and rare back-vintage wines.
Sandra has agreed to share a few of her prized cellar treasures along with award-winning current releases. Adrian will present dishes that make use of seasonal ingredients and the newly finished hawthorn brick smokehouse, accompanied by fresh-baked bread from the original AGA oven.
Come and enjoy the beautiful gardens, food, wine and stories. This promises to be a wonderful table to join.
