Owned and operated by Ted and Wendy Ambler, Chalkers Crossing’s Rockleigh Vineyard was planted in 1997–98. It also purchases grapes from Tumbarumba and Gundagai. Winemaker Celine Rousseau was born in France’s Loire Valley, trained in Bordeaux and has worked in Bordeaux, Champagne, Languedoc, Margaret River and the Perth Hills. This Flying Winemaker (now an Australian citizen) has exceptional skills and dedication. Exports to the UK, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan.
