The definitive guide to Australian Wines
Famous among the cognoscenti for its superb Noble One, which in fact accounts for only a minute part of its total production, this winery turns out low-priced varietal and generic wines that are invariably competently made. They come in part from estate vineyards, but also from contract-grown grapes. The rating is in part a reflection of the exceptional value for money offered across the range. In June 2012 De Bortoli received a $4.8 million grant from the Federal Government?s Clean Technology Food and Foundries Investment Program. This grant supports an additional investment of $11 million by the De Bortoli family in their project called ?Re-engineering Our Future for a Carbon Economy?. De Bortoli is a founding member of Australia?s First Families of Wine. Exports to all major markets.

The Bilbul winery in the Riverina is famous for the iconic dessert wine Noble One but also produces world class fortified, premium varietal and sparkling wines. Great strides have been made with varietal wines in recent years and they deliver outstanding quality and value. Fruit is sourced from our own 300 hectares of vineyards and those of selected growers.
