BackVintage Wines is a virtual winery with a difference; not only does it not own vineyards, nor a winery, it sells only through its website, or by fax or phone. The team of Michael Dijrstra, Nick Bulleid and Rob Moody source parcels of bulk wines they consider to represent excellent quality and value for money. They are then responsible for the final steps before the wine goes to bottle. In times of surplus they are able to pick and choose, and it looks as if the days of surplus will extend well into the current decade..
