This was a joint venture between 2 very influential wine families: De Bortoli and Shelmerdine. It rests upon the selection and management of specific blocks of vines, without regard to cost. The wines are made from the 7.5ha Lusatia Park Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, and the estate-owned 7.5ha vineyard in Heathcote. The vineyard was acquired by De Bortoli in November ’15, effective after the ’16 harvest. Exports to the UK and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
