As one might expect, this very experienced industry veteran makes consistently good, full- flavoured and smooth wines based on the pick of the crop of his extensive vineyard holdings; the immaculately restored/rebuilt stone cellar door sales buildings are another attraction. The provocatively named The Holy Trinity joins Shadrach and Meshach at the top of the range. Grant Burge repurchased the farm from Mildara Blass by acquiring the Krondorf winery in Tanunda (not the brand), in which he made his first fortune in 1999. He renamed it Barossa Vines and opened a cellar door offering casual food. A third cellar door (Illaparra) is open on Murray Street, Tanunda. Exports to all major markets.

Founded in 1988, Grant Burge Wines is built on the traditional values of family, heritage and quality.
As a fifth-generation Barossa vigneron, Grant spent his boyhood immersed in the wine industry, watching his father and grandfather build respected wine businesses and learning traditional winemaking techniques. These techniques have served Grant well in his winemaking endeavours.
In support of his winemaking expertise, Grant owns a network of vineyards across the Barossa and Eden Valley including the famous Filsell Vineyard, which was planted in the 1920’s. Located between the townships of Lyndoch and Williamstown, this venerable old vineyard produces fruit of incredible concentration and flavour which forms the base of Grant’s iconic Meshach Shiraz.
