A family business owned by Ian and Wendy Hollick, and winner of many trophies (including the most famous of all, the Jimmy Watson), its wines are well crafted and competitively priced. The lavish cellar door and restaurant complex is one of the focal points for tourism in Coonawarra. The Hollicks have progressively expanded their vineyard holdings: the first is the Neilson’s Block, one of the original John Riddoch selections, but used as a dairy farm from 1910 to ’75, when the Hollicks planted cabernet sauvignon and merlot. The second is the Wilgha Vineyard, purchased in ’87 with established dry-grown cabernet sauvignon and shiraz. The last is the Red Ridge Vineyard in Wrattonbully, which includes trial plantings of tempranillo and sangiovese. Exports to most major markets.

The complex incorporates a restaurant, “Upstairs at Hollick”, which showcases modern Australian cuisine using regional produce. The limestone building features red gum benches and stairs with floor to ceiling windows to allow views overlooking the vineyard and into the barrel shed.An extensive selection of Hollick wines are available for tasting at all times including wines that are exclusive to cellar door. As well as the outstanding wines on offer, visitors can purchase local produce, Hollick merchandise and fine glassware.
