David and Trudy Herbert have 1.77ha planted to pinot noir (1.32ha), with smaller amounts of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, shiraz, pinot gris and merlot. They have built a 2-level (mini) winery overlooking a 1300 square-metre maze, which is reflected in the label logo. -JAMES HALLIDAY
