Our Review
Since acquiring Coal Valley Vineyard in 1999, Gill Christian and Todd Goebel have increased the original 1ha hobby vineyard to 4.5ha of pinot noir, riesling, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay and tempranillo. More remarkable were Gill and Todd’s concurrent lives: one in India, the other in Tasmania (flying over six times a year), and digging 4000 holes for the new vine plantings. Todd makes the Pinot Noir and Tempranillo onsite, and dreams of making all the wines. Exports to Canada. -JAMES HALLIDAY
