Peter Booth is a third-generation member of the Booth family, who have owned this winery since Esca Booth purchased the property in 1904. James Booth, fourth-generation and current winemaker, completed his wine science degree at CSU in 2008. The red wines are massively flavoured and very long lived, notably from the 9 ha of shiraz planted in 1919. Trebbiano and alicante bouschet were also planted in 1919, with much newer arrivals including nero d’Avola. The wines are sold through the cellar door, mail order and a selection of independent retailers in Melbourne and Sydney. Exports to Hong Kong.
