Perth-born Adam Richardson began his winemaking career in 1995, along the way working for Normans, d?Arenberg and Oakridge Estate. Since that time he has held senior winemaking roles, ultimately with TWE Americas before moving back to Australia with wife Eva and children in late 2015. But in 2005 he put down small roots in the Grampians region, acquiring a vineyard with shiraz from old clones from the 19th century, and riesling. The wines are exceptionally good, and given his experience and the quality of the vineyard, that should not come as a surprise. As well as having hands-on experience in winemaking for the smallest to the largest producers, he has firsthand knowledge of the US market, and contacts in many parts of the world. He has set up a wine consultancy business, drawing on experience that is matched by few consultants based in Australia. Exports to the UK and the US.
