Our Review
Stephen Shelmerdine has been a major figure in the wine industry for over 25 years, like his family (who founded Mitchelton Winery) before him, and has been honoured for his many services to the industry. Substantial quantities of the grapes produced are sold to others; a small amount of high-quality wine is contract-made. The Merindoc and Willoughby Bridge wines are produced from the 2 eponymous estate vineyards in Heathcote. Exports to China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
