Anne Spencer and Malcolm Washbourne purchased their 55-ha property overlooking the Indian Ocean in 1997, its northern boundaries marked by the Cape Naturaliste National Park. Quininup Creek meanders through the property, providing the water source for its blue-green dam. The name is a combination of daughters Ariann and Mia. They have planted a Joseph’s coat array of varieties, including semillon, sauvignon blanc, verdelho, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot, shiraz, grenache, mourvedre and zinfandel. A new cellar door is planned for 2011.
