Brookland Valley

Western Australia | Margaret River | The cellar door is on the traditional land of the Wadandi people

Our Review

Brookland Valley has an idyllic setting, its restaurant Flutes overlooking the waters of Wilyabrup Brook. The vineyard is located on the edge of Leeuwin’s Naturaliste Ridge and is planted predominately to cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Winemaker Courtney Treacher completed her degree in viticulture and oenology in ’02, gaining experience in the Swan Valley, Perth Hills, Margaret River and the Hunter Valley along the way. She joined Houghton Wines as a cellarhand in ’04, working her way up to her current role as senior winemaker for both Houghton and Brookland Valley Wines, both owned by Accolade. The quality, value for money and consistency of the wines are exemplary.
