Forester Estate is owned by Kevin McKay. Kevin has built a 500-tonne winery, half devoted to contract winemaking, the other half for the Forester label. Winemaker Todd Payne has had a distinguished career, starting in the Great Southern, thereafter the Napa Valley, then back to Plantagenet, then on to Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, plus two vintages in the Northern Rhône Valley, one with the esteemed producer Yves Cuilleron in 2008. His move back to WA completes the circle. The estate vineyards are planted to sauvignon blanc, semillon, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, merlot, petit verdot, malbec and alicante bouschet. Exports to Singapore, China and Japan.

Forester Estate is a family owned winery situated on Wildwood Road, Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region.
Built in 2002 by Jenny and Kevin McKay, Forester Estate is a new generation winery that strives to showcase the distinct regional characters of northern Margaret River fruit.
The winery houses the best of new technology which is coupled with proven traditional winemaking techniques to ensure the exceptional quality grown in the vineyard is preserved in the finished product.
