Brown Brothers is unveiling its new Patricia wines at a behind-the-scenes roving dinner, and you're invited

To celebrate the 14th release of its flagship Patricia range, Brown Brothers is hosting a movable feast at Milawa Vineyard pairing its finest wines with culinary delights inspired by the late Patricia Brown's private recipe journal.

The roving dinner party will see guests treated to canapés and sparkling among the tanks, head into the historic barn for new-release wines and entrées, then continue to the cellar door lounge for dessert, cheese and cabernet. In addition to sampling the latest vintage releases - the Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 and Patricia Chardonnay 2012 - attendees will have the opportunity to quiz the people behind Brown Brothers' most prized bottles and hear the family stories that have shaped the workings of the 128-year-old winery.

Named in honour of the Brown family's beloved matriarch, the Patricia range is characterised by premium fruit selection, the input of the entire Brown Brothers winemaking team and a stringent blind tasting process. To find out more you can watch winemaker Geoff Alexander's video introduction to the Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 and winemaker Cate Looney's video introduction to the Patricia Chardonnay 2012, or read James Halliday's tasting notes on previous Patricia releases.

For those wishing to stay the weekend, Brown Brothers offers a Gourmet Discovery Day experience package including wine evaluation and blending workshops, a tour taking in different parts of the winery, an extended tasting session and three-course lunch. For Melbourne-based food and wine lovers who like to arrive in style, private transfers can easily be arranged with Brown Brothers partners Melbourne Private ToursKirkhope Aviation and Heli-Serv.
