Gerard and Berenice Hines planted their vineyard in 2001, with 4ha of cabernet sauvignon (since grafted over to viognier), 2ha of shiraz and 1ha of riesling, which produced the first wines in ?04. The more recent grafting of some vines to viognier has seen the release of a Shiraz Viognier. The only wine that is not estate-grown is the Chardonnay, which is sourced from a nearby Hilltops vineyard. The quantity made is unlikely to exceed 1000 dozen a year, with limited retail and restaurant listings in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
