Our Review

In 1949 Florindo and wife Amabile migrated to Australia and planted their first vines in 1960, vines that are still producing grapes today for sale to other producers. In '70 Florindo began making small amounts of Trebbiano in a small cement tank for family and friends. A hobby became a business, that is carried on today by son Peter, with a 15ha vineyard and onsite winery. The wines made include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Semillon, Trebbiano and Fragolino. Peter says that keeping in mind his European heritage, where family and friends gather together for a glass or two of wine with lunch and dinner, he specialises in quality wine packaged in 15-litre packs. Exports to China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
