Our Review
Mt Lofty Ranges is owned and operated by Sharon Pearson and Garry Sweeney. Nestled high in the Lenswood subregion of the Adelaide Hills at an elevation of 500m, the very steep north-facing vineyard (pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and riesling) is pruned and picked by hand. The soil is sandy clay loam with a rock base of white quartz and ironstone, and irrigation is kept to a minimum to allow the wines to display vintage characteristics. -JAMES HALLIDAY
