Andrew Miller Wines

This is a long-distance business, owner Dr Andrew Miller living in Casuarina in the Northern Territory. In 1998 he acquired the St Clare Vineyard, originally planted over 80 years ago, substantially reworked and replanted in the 1980s. Andrew has further improved the vineyard, which is now 90ha, planted to shiraz (44ha), cabernet sauvignon (32ha), riesling (9ha) and grenache (5ha). It was not until 2010 that he decided to retain some of the grapes (right from the outset most of the production has been sold) and chose the Velvet & Willow brand, named after twins delivered by Andrew.
