Our Review
The Mocandunda vineyard was established in 1998 by Hartley Heinrich, current owners Rodger Ackland (one of the Clare Valley's most experienced viticulturists and founder of Mount Horrocks) and Mick Faulkner, a leading SA agronomist. The virtually dry-grown vineyard is planted to riesling, shiraz, merlot and cabernet sauvignon at an altitude of 450m. Most of the production is sold to several leading wineries in the Clare Valley, with a portion retained for the Mocandunda label. -JAMES HALLIDAY
