Mountadam

South Australia | Eden Valley

Our Review

Founded by the late David Wynn for the benefit of winemaker son Adam, Mountadam was (somewhat surprisingly) purchased by Moet Hennessy Wine Estates in 2000. In 2005, Mountadam returned to family ownership when it was purchased by David and Jenni Brown from Adelaide. David and Jenni have worked to bring the original Mountadam property back together with the purchase of Mountadam Farm in 2007 and the High Eden Vineyard from TWE in '15, thus reassembling all of the land originally purchased by David Wynn in the late 1960s. Phil Lehmann stepped into the role of chief winemaker in 2019, with extensive experience in the Barossa and Eden valleys at Peter Lehmann, Yalumba, Teusner, WD Wines and his own label Max & Me. Exports to the UK, Canada, France, Switzerland, Poland, Hong Kong and China.
