Brothers Jake and Martin Greenrod are primarily restaurateurs with organic pizza restaurants in Adelaide. Way back, Jake studied oenology at Roseworthy for three years in the early 1990s, but didn't get around to completing the course. Nonetheless, it has certainly helped Green Road Wines. It has a 0.9ha vineyard planted to cabernet sauvignon. The wines are chiefly sold through their Hutt Street restaurant. Ian Hongell made the wines until 2015, and Charlie Seppelt took on the task from '16. And if the idea of organic gourmet pizzas presses your button, the Hahndorf spicy salami and the Barossa Valley double bacon causes the saliva to run.
