Just so you know, Noogoora is a drought-resistant plant, despised by graziers as a weed, but, say Noogoora's owners, it ‘thrives in good times and survives the lean periods. This fits with our lifestyle. It's all about family, friends and flourishing in the good times.' Owners Martin Kay, Celeste Roberts and Pieter Breugem have worked together for many years at a winery (not Noogooora), Celeste and Pieter husband and wife winemakers, Martin the marketer. This is seen by the trio as fun, but there's real purpose to overseeing the making the Noogoora wine. -JAMES HALLIDAY
