The RockBare journey, which began in late 2000, took a new direction recently when 2 multi-generational wine families came together in partnership: the Jackson family from California and the Melbourne-based Valmorbida family. Their combined focus will create a distinctive expression on the diverse wine regions across SA and those varieties that make them famous. Winemaker Shelley Torresan heads a team that sources grapes from family-owned vineyards and also well-regarded growers. Many of these loyal growers have been involved with RockBare for the past 18 years, committed to representing the very best of SA and being part of the now bigger RockBare family.
