Organic Vignerons Australia is a very interesting winemaking business. It consists of the owners of five certified organic SA properties: Claire and Kevin Hansen at Padthaway, Bruce and Sue Armstrong at Waikerie, Brett and Melissa Munchenberg at Loxton, Terry Markou at Adelaide Plains and David and Barbara Bruer at Langhorne Creek. The wines are made by David Bruer at Temple Bruer, which is itself a certified organic producer. The company went into liquidation, but by early 2008 had commenced trading again. -JAMES HALLIDAY
