Sister’s Run is now part of the Brooks family empire, the highly experienced Elena Brooks making the wines. The Stiletto and Boot on the label are those of Elena, and the motto ‘The truth is in the vineyard, but the proof is in the glass’ is, one would guess, the work of marketer extraordinaire husband Zar Brooks. -JAMES HALLIDAY
