George Wyndham

South Australia | South Eastern Australia

James' Review

Named in honour of George Wyndham, who planted Australia's first commercial shiraz vineyard in 1830 at Dalwood in the Hunter Valley. Originally Dalwood Wines until 1970, then Wyndham Estate (1970-2015), the wines were renamed George Wyndham in '15. The Bin range, led by Bin 555 Shiraz, often represents good value for money, as do the ‘George' wines (I am George, George the Fixer). At the top is Black Cluster (shiraz) from the Hunter Valley. The wines are made and bottled in the Barossa Valley. Exports to Canada, Europe and Asia.
