James' Review

The vineyard was planted in 2002 by a farmer looking for a hobby. By ?05 he realised hobby wasn?t the right word, and leased the vineyard to Brett and Linda Squibb, apple growers with their orchard 10 mins from the vineyard. It took them a couple of years to get the vines back into shape, and, having done a TAFE course on viticulture, they produced their first vintage of 280 bottles of Pinot Noir in ?07. They then learnt winemaking wasn?t a hobby either, and passed the winemaking responsibilities on to Rebecca Duffy.
