Lyn and Geoff Bath have had a long association with the Victorian wine industry. Since 1982 Geoff has been senior lecturer in viticulture with the University of Melbourne at Dookie campus; he and wife Lyn also owned (in conjunction with two other couples) a vineyard at Whitlands for 18 years. In 2000 they sold their interest in that vineyard to focus on their small vineyard at Goorambat, hence the clever name. Plantings are mainly devoted to shiraz and verdelho, with small amounts of pinot gris, orange muscat and tannat. Exports to Canada, Hong Kong and China.
