Our Review
Horseshoe Vineyard, owned and operated by John and Wendy Hordern and family, was established by Bob Hordern with cuttings of semillon and shiraz from Penfolds Wybong Park vineyard; further plantings of chardonnay, semillon and shiraz were made in following years. Roseworthy graduate John Hordern gained experience at Wybong Estate and Arrowfield before founding Hunter Wine Services with Rex D'Aquino in 2001. Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc are made from purchased grapes from Orange. Exports to the UK and China. -JAMES HALLIDAY
