Perth-born Adam Richardson began his winemaking career in 1995, along the way working for Normans, d'Arenberg and Oakridge Estate. Since that time he has held senior winemaking roles, ultimately with TWE America before moving back to Australia with wife Eva and children in late 2015. In 2005 he had put down roots in the Grampians region, establishing a vineyard with shiraz from old clones from the 19th century, and riesling. In '12 he extended the vineyard plantings with tannat and nebbiolo. The wines are exceptionally good, and given his experience and the quality of the vineyard, that should not come as a surprise. He has also set up a wine consultancy business, drawing on experience that is matched by few consultants based in Australia. Exports to Europe.
