Our Review
Andrew Ryan, the former director of Mitchelon wines cum managing director of Melbourne’s Prince Hotel, leapt at the opportunity to source a small stash of premium pinot noir from asunder, on the Mornington Peninsula. All Dijon 114 and 115, the fruit offered opportunity to explore clonal nuances. Given the strong points of differentiation between the clones, Ryan opted to craft 2 separate wines, each an arbiter of one of the clones respectively. Grown in a warmer northern subzone of the Peninsula, the inaugural cuvées are thus named The 114 and The 115.
