Pasadera Wines

Victoria | Mornington Peninsula

Our Review

The vineyard was planted in 1990, and for a number of years (and owners) the property was called The Pines, hence the stylised pine cone on the label. The grapes were sold for many years, and at various times the vineyard was leased. Then, in early 2014, owners Rusty and Nancy French decided to cease selling the grapes and take control of the mature, low-cropping vines, retaining the services of contract winemaker Michael Kyberd. Into the bargain, Pasadera is also a horse stud, with a number of Arabian thoroughbreds. -JAMES HALLIDAY
