Glenlofty Wines

Victoria | Pyrenees

James' Review

The vineyard was established by Southcorp after exhaustive soil and climate research to supply grapes for Seppelt and Penfolds wines. In August 2010 Treasury Wine Estates sold the vineyard to Canadian-based Roger Richmond-Smith and winemaking moved to Blue Pyrenees Estate. Glenlofty Wines subsequently purchased the nearby 30ha Decameron Station, bringing the total vineyard holdings to over 130ha. In April 2019 Glenlofty Wines also purchased Blue Pyrenees Estate, making it the largest producer in the Pyrenees. Exports to Canada, Singapore, NZ and China.
