Our Review
Castelli Estate will cause many small winery owners to go green with envy. When Sam Castelli purchased the property in late '04, he was intending simply to use it as a family holiday destination. But because there was a partly constructed winery he decided to complete the building work and simply lock the doors. However, wine was in his blood courtesy of his father, who owned a small vineyard in Italy’s south. The temptation was too much and in ’07 the winery was commissioned. Fruit is sourced from some of the best sites in WA: Frankland River, Mount Barker, Pemberton and Porongurup. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Try our range of award-winning wines made from fruit sourced from the best vineyards in the Great Southern. Our Denmark Cellar Door is open from 11am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday offering an extensive choice of wines for tasting. The kitchen is open for food Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30am to 3.00pm. Tastings are free for Wine Club Members and $10 for non-members, refundable against any purchase. Although no bookings are required for small groups, we advise pre-booking during peak periods to avoid disappointment. Bookings are essential for groups larger than 12.
