Vasse Felix is Margaret River’s founding wine estate, established by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity. Owned and operated by the Holmes à Court family since '87, Paul Holmes à Court has brought the focus to Margaret River’s key varieties of cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Chief winemaker Virginia Willcock has energised the winemaking and viticultural team with her no-nonsense approach and fierce commitment to quality. Vasse Felix has 3 scrupulously managed vineyards throughout Margaret River that contribute all but a small part of the annual production. Wines include the Tom Cullity (cabernet blend) and Heytesbury Chardonnay under the Icon collection. Other wines fall under the Premier, Filius and Classic collections. -JAMES HALLIDAY
