Our Review
MyattsField Vineyards is owned by Josh and Rachael Davenport. Both have oenology degrees and domestic and Flying Winemaker experience, especially Rachael. In ’06 they decided they would prefer to work for themselves. They left their employment, building a winery in time for the ’07 vintage. Their vineyards include verdelho, mourvèdre, touriga, and durif alongside shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. They also purchase small parcels of grapes. -JAMES HALLIDAY
