James' Review

Winemaker and proprietor Alexi Christidis explains that the name 'Chalari' reflects his Greek heritage and his father, always one for a cup of coffee or a drink and watching the world go by - the word meaning 'relaxed'. While studying oenology at CSU Alexi decided to make small batches of wine, exemplified by his purchase of 2 tonnes of hand-picked riesling from Frankland River, making it in a 5-tonne 'winery' in the Perth Hills, using a low-intervention natural approach.
