Some colour change towards amber, although deep; the scented bouquet is very spicy and foresty; the palate is powerful and complex, with layers of fruit and forest floor.
It is highly likely that the brett police would have their brettometers pointing at the glass. I shall simply enjoy the wine in blissful ignorance. Confit duck was a fine match.
