Partalunga Vineyards

South Australia | Adelaide Hills

Our Review

The Partalunga Vineyard was planted in the early 1980s by the Seppelt family. The Torrens River runs through the front of the property, and the vines sit amongst well-ordered undulating land, a natural landscape masterpiece. The vineyard is planted to chardonnay and sauvignon blanc (20ha each), shiraz (15ha), riesling (10ha), cabernet sauvignon (9ha), pinot noir (5ha) and pinot meunier (2ha). In 2009 the vineyard was purchased from Foster's by Phil and Wendy Bennett, and while most of the grapes are sold, the Bennetts retain sufficient to make up to 5000 dozen a year. -JAMES HALLIDAY
