Long Yarn Wines is a family-operated wine business. It makes wines under two labels: the widely distributed Long Yarn range and the cellar door-only wines of Stamford & Clark. In addition to managing the Loom Wine business, owner Steve Grimley consults to UK-based Direct Wines (the largest direct marketer of wine in the world) and is in charge of making and sourcing their Australian range. Jess Hardy was appointed winemaker and manager of the business in 2013. Exports to the UK, the US and Japan. -JAMES HALLIDAY
