One of the longest-established wineries in the region, with estate and locally grown shiraz and cabernet family grapes providing the excellent red wines. Ian Leamon is the second generation of the family to be involved, taking responsibility for winemaking in the 1980s. The estate- grown shiraz, cabernet merlot and semillon is supplemented by riesling from the Strathbogie Ranges. ‘Chateau’ has been dropped from the winery name because of export complications. Exports to Canada and Singapore.
