Phillip Morahan and Jenifer Kolkka began developing Curly Flat in 1992, drawing in part on Phillip’s working experience in Switzerland in the late 1980s, and with a passing nod to Michael Leunig. With ceaseless help and guidance from the late Laurie Williams (and others), they have painstakingly established 8.5 ha of pinot noir, 3.5 ha of chardonnay and 1 ha of pinot gris, and a multi-level, gravity-flow winery. Exports to the UK, Japan and Hong Kong.
