Sutherland Smith Wines

George Sutherland-Smith, for decades managing director and winemaker at All Saints, has opened his own small business at Rutherglen, making wine in the refurbished Emu Plains winery, originally constructed in the 1850s. He draws upon fruit grown in a leased vineyard at Glenrowan and also from grapes grown in the King Valley. A combined historical talk and tasting masterclass is held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from April to November inclusive. -JAMES HALLIDAY
