Wildwood is just 4 km past Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport, at an altitude of 130 m in the Oaklands Valley, which provides unexpected views back to Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne skyline. Plastic surgeon Dr Wayne Stott has taken what is very much a part-time activity rather more seriously than most by completing the wine science degree at CSU.

Established in 1983, Wildwood is a small winery in the Sunbury region producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Owned by the Stott family, the ethos is to produce the best quality wine from the estate grown fruit, and express the varietal flavours complemented by French oak. The cafe and cellar door is open on weekends between 11am and 4pm and serves authentic wood fired pizza and a selection of main dishes, overlooking the vines.
