Rod Needham and Heather Campbell planted their 3.2-ha vineyard on the lower slopes of Mt Cathedral, at a height of 280m using a variant of the Scott Henry trellis system, with high-density 1m spacing between the vines, alternately trained up or down. The vineyard planning was supervised by former Coldstream Hills viticulturist Bill Christophersen.
