Between the mid-1990s and 2001, several prominent West Australians, including Marilyn Corderory, Malcolm McCusker, and Terry and Kevin Prindiville, established 125 ha of vines (under separate ownerships) in the Perth Hills, planting a kaleidoscopic range of varieties. The next step was to join forces to build a substantial winery. This is a separate venture, but takes the grapes from the individual vineyards and markets the wine under the Western Range brand. The wines are made and sold at four levels: Lot 88, Goyamin Pool, Julimar and Julimar Organic. The label designs are clear and attractive. Exports to Canada, Poland, Russia, China and Japan.
