The Top 100 Wines of 2018

Top white wine under $25

James Halliday by James Halliday

10 Nov, 2018

Crisp, aromatic and highly drinkable, this outstanding selection will have your summer sorted. At such accessible prices, it's worth picking up a mixed pack of these wines as crowd-pleasing options for entertaining.

The list that follows forms part of James Halliday's Top 100 Wines of 2018.

The glaring omission is Hunter semillon, falling prey to the extreme vintage heat. Riesling filled the gap with six wines, four from WA. Three of the five sauvignon blancs came from the Adelaide Hills and two from Western Australia. Chardonnay was contested by four regions, Margaret River providing three of the six wines.

The ahead 20 wines were chosen from 146 submitted.
